You’ll get fit walking Provencal stairs! Let’s look at the bedrooms.
You take the right hand door in the downstairs hallway (the one on the left leads directly down into the wine cellar). A railing made of heavy rope makes it easier to mount the stone stairs. The first door to the right leads to the ”master bedroom”. We’d love to have had king size double beds here, but you’ll only have to look at the stairs to understand why we settled for queen size . However, the big en-suite bathroom is a great consolation. It comes fully equipped with twin wash basins, WC, washing machine, bath tub with shower, tumble drier and hairdryer. Bathroom 3: Small, with a shower cabinet, wash basin and WC. This clean, new bathroom is on the landing next door to the master bedroom.
Two and a half bedrooms on the top floor
Follow the rope upstairs and you’ll see stunning views of the Notre Dame de Grace convent in the west and the mountain range which hides the Mediterranean in the south. In the two upstairs bedrooms there are also queen size double beds. You’ll find a mini-bedroom (120 cm. wide), which can be converted into a playroom for children. Note that the ideal amount of guests in this house are 4-6 people. However, with a flexible attitude, this can be stretched to include 7 or 8 people.
